Today's animal: Darwin's Frog

Interesting facts: 

  • The  Dad Darwin's frog actually puts it's tadpoles in it's vocal sac.
  • This prevents the Dad from croaking. 
  • He sometimes swallows 1 or 2 tadpoles.
  • The Dad spits out the babies once developed
  • Native to Argentina and Chile
  • Scientific name: Rhino-derma Darwini
